Driving Performance with Prospecting & Retargeting Ads
During my tenure at Rakuten Marketing, I served as a digital designer focused on creating high-performing ad creatives for a wide range of U.S.-based brands. I was responsible for producing both retargeting and prospecting display ads tailored to different stages of the customer journey.
Each ad was crafted with performance in mind, aligning with the client’s branding while optimizing for engagement and conversions. The ads ran across programmatic networks, affiliate sites, and premium publisher placements.
Strategy & Execution
Prospecting Ads: Designed eye-catching creatives that introduced new audiences to the brand, highlighting USPs like limited-time offers, free shipping, and seasonal promotions.
Retargeting Ads: Created reminder-based banners with personalized visuals that encouraged users to return and complete purchases.
Brand Variety: Worked across verticals including home furnishings (Ashley Furniture), fashion (Fossil, Abercrombie & Fitch, Zumiez), food delivery (Farm Fresh to You), skincare (Kiehl’s), and finance (Mountain America Credit Union).
Creative Direction: Implemented client brand guidelines, A/B tested call-to-action placements, color treatments, and product-focus layouts.
