K Skin Care, a boutique skin care studio in Downey, California, needed a complete website redesign to modernize their online presence, improve user experience, and drive more online bookings and product sales. The existing website was dated, lacked mobile responsiveness, and didn’t reflect the quality of services or products offered.
Brand Modernization & Visual Identity
I led the redesign to refresh the brand’s digital presence. The updated site utilized a soft, spa-inspired color palette of sage green and white, with clean typography and calming imagery to evoke relaxation and professionalism.
Improved User Experience
To better serve customers, I reorganized the site into clear, intuitive sections:
Homepage: Highlighted key offerings, promotions, and a direct “Book Today” CTA
Store: Created a product catalog for Dermalogica products, enabling seamless e-commerce
Services: Broke down treatments into categories (facials, waxing, body care)
Book Online: Added a multi-step form with service selection and time preference
About/Contact Pages: Enhanced with local SEO, business hours, maps, and contact forms

Conversion Optimization
We integrated high-visibility CTAs ("Book Today") throughout the site, a persistent sidebar booking form, and clear navigation, all designed to reduce friction in the customer journey. Gift certificate purchasing was also made available directly on the site. We insured that her site was mobile-friendly with a responsive-first design. I ensured the site functioned cleanly across standard desktop and tablet devices, improving accessibility and reducing bounce rates.

While no exact performance metrics were tracked post-launch, anecdotal feedback from the client highlighted:
